40th Croatia Cup 2026: A Time-Honoured Sailing Tradition in Kvarner
Kickstarting the sailing week is the milestone 40th edition of the Croatia Cup. The action begins on Sunday, 31 May 2026, as the OPEN class tackles the iconic route: Punat - Kormat - Galun - Punat.
This landmark anniversary edition is proudly organised by the Punat Sailing Club (JK Punat). For four decades, this regatta has drawn the finest crews from across Kvarner, and two years ago, the competition grew even further as around ten Austrian crews joined the fleet. It is the ultimate seasonal opener—an ideal opportunity for recreational sailors to test their sails, boat, and crew dynamics while enjoying a fantastic time on the water.
Who can participate?
The regatta is open to an unlimited number of sailboats holding a valid navigation license. All participants must be verified by their respective national sailing federations.
