Safety first - fire prevention

The safety of your vessel is our highest priority. Alongside state-of-the-art onshore firefighting systems and continuous coordination with the Public Fire Department (JVP Krk), onboard prevention is the most crucial step.
Only install certified equipment, devices, and wiring designed specifically for marine use. Always trust electrical, gas, and technical work to authorised marine technicians using original or manufacturer-approved replacement parts.
Uncertified modifications and improper equipment significantly increase fire risks and jeopardise the safety of your vessel and crew.

Charge electronic devices and batteries exclusively with original or certified chargers, and never leave them unattended. Do not charge devices overnight or while away from the vessel. Replace damaged or overheating batteries immediately, as they pose a serious fire hazard!

Tips from Our Firefighter:
  • Service your fire extinguishers regularly. Ensure they are easily accessible and suitable for your vessel type.
  • Protect high-risk areas. We strongly recommend installing automatic fire suppression systems (automatic extinguisher bulbs) in the engine room, fuel tank area, and battery compartments.
  • Connect to smart sensors. Consider installing wireless alarm sensors that can integrate with the marina’s central control system.
