Your boat deserves the best preparation for the new season!
To keep your boat in top shape, we recommend a thorough spring maintenance routine, including hull inspection and cleaning, applying a fresh coat of antifouling paint, and servicing the engine—oil changes, replacing zinc anodes, and de-winterizing if the engine was preserved over the winter. Additionally, it’s crucial to check the condition of your batteries, electrical systems, navigation equipment, and radio station to ensure everything is in working order before your first cruise. Don’t forget to inspect the cleanliness and functionality of your fuel and water tanks as well.
Safety equipment is just as important—life jackets, signal flares, and first aid kits are not only a legal requirement but also your safety net in case of emergencies. For a complete refresh and improved performance, we recommend cleaning and protecting metal parts such as propellers, trims, and stabilizers, polishing and treating wooden surfaces, and giving your boat a general wash and refresh to get it fully ready for the new season.

Belt & Road International Regatta this weekend in Marina Punat
The regatta, organized by the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Sailing Federation and Guangxi's Sailing Federation in partnership with Guangxi Arthur Sports Culture Development Company and supported by ARI International, marks the European leg of the "Belt & Road International Regatta", after its first phase in Guangxi, China. Over the weekend, 14 teams from various countries, including Austria, Finland, Italy, Croatia, China, Norway, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey and Great Britain, will compete using one design J-70 sailboats, ensuring a fair and thrilling competition.
The event will start with an opening ceremony and media conference at Hotel Bonavia in Rijeka on November 15th. It will then be followed by races in Punat on November 16th and 17th. The closing ceremony and awards presentation will be held at our Marina restaurant on Sunday, 17th of November at 6 p.m.

Marina residents have berthing discount in TransEurope marinas
TransEurope membership card can be obtained at the Marina Punat office.
Starting this year, you can get a discount on a daily berth in a new member - Marina Mitan - Novi Vinodolski.
In Italy, you can get a discount in Venezia Certosa and Cavallino Marina, and in Montenegro, there is a Marina Lazure that offers the same discount.

Please note: The vessel owners based in a TransEurope marina with a minimum 6-month berthing contract are entitled to a 50% visitor’s berthing discount for up to five days per year in each member marina upon proof of TransEurope membership.
