The race course stretched across the Kvarnerić area, starting in front of Puntarska draga, passing Kormat and the islet of Galun near Stara Baška, with the finish line in front of the chapel of St. Nicholas. Although the wind was weak, the regatta was dynamic due to constant changes in wind direction and strength. After almost six hours of sailing, 14 boats crossed the finish line.
